You’ll drive from Scharnitz down the Zirler Berg to Innsbruck. Once you arrive in our capital city, you can drive right up to the zoo or park in the city and take the Hungerburgbahn up to the zoo. You’ll find yourself at the foot of the Nordkette, where you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of Innsbruck and the surrounding mountains.Once you arrive at the zoo, you’ll discover the world’s only themed zoo, home to 2,000 animals and 150 Alpine species.There’s also a large playground with a bear den where the little ones can run around and play.Hungerburgbahn and Zoo: 2 hoursZoo: 1 hourIt’s not exactly cheap, but it’s a place you should visit at least once.
